Foundation Accomplishments


Makenna's Wall		Toddler Playroom

2002: Purchased a children’s bronchoscope to used by the pediatric patients at KCH.
2003: Dedicated Makenna’s Wall – our signature project.
2005: Funded the construction of a Sedation and Therapy Suite at the Kentucky Clinic to make it easier for children to be sedated during procedures.
2007: Renovated the Toddler Play Room
2010: The Makenna David Pediatric Emergency Center will be open in July 2010.

In honor of the life of Makenna David, this Foundation will give hope, joy and courage to the children and families who are served by the caring professionals of the Kentucky Children's Hospital.
